Tumbleweeds - are actually a structure formed from certain species of plants. When the plant gets old or there isn’t enough water, the plant separates from it’s roots and blows with the wind. Tumbleweeds are essentially very big speed dispensers (Think dandelions). On their journey they’ll either deposit seeds, or, if they come to rest in water, slowly open and let a new plant grow from them.
